The same five questions come up almost every time someone hears about Concier for the first time. Here are the answers, plain.
1. Is this a rental?
Yes. Plainly. You choose a pass in the app, and the wardrobe waiting for you at your hotel reflects what that pass includes. You wear the pieces during your stay and give them back when you check out. They get cleaned and they go back into the city closet for the next guest.
If you fall for a piece, you can keep it. Buy-to-keep is charged per piece. That is the only thing you walk out with that you did not walk in with.
2. Where are the clothes from?
Past-season inventory at brand partners. Pieces that for one reason or another did not sell at full price. They are not damaged, they are not seconds, they have never been worn. They are the items that were perfectly good and just did not move before the next collection landed.
We take a portion of that inventory off the partner's books, route it into our city closets, and send it to whichever hotel you booked. We are brand-agnostic about it. Whatever the brand, we are giving already-made clothes a second life.
3. Whose sizes does this work for?
Multiple sizes per piece in each city closet. We are working with brand partners on size availability across the same range the brand carries on its own retail floor. The honest answer is that the size range gets fuller as a city closet matures. Day one of a new city has a narrower range than year one. We are building it up the right way, which is by sourcing the actual range and not faking it.
4. What do I do with the wardrobe at the end of the trip?
Almost nothing. The pieces you wore go into the Concier laundry bag that shipped with the wardrobe. You leave the bag, we collect it at the end of your stay, and we handle all of the cleaning. The hotel does not launder anything. You walk out with the same carry-on you walked in with.
5. What does this cost?
It is on the site, so here is the shape of it. There are two ways in. A Day Pass, priced per day you travel, with a two-day minimum and no subscription. Or an Annual membership, shown as a monthly rate and billed once a year, for people who travel enough that counting days is annoying.
Both give you the same allowance: one outfit for every day you travel, plus a spare piece for each of those days in case something does not work. It is deliberately not unlimited. You are dressing for a trip, not curating a closet.
The current numbers are on the pricing section of the homepage. We would rather point you at the live number than print one here that drifts.
Bonus question: is the app live in the App Store yet?
It is submitted and working its way through App Review. The waitlist is the access point in the meantime, and the waitlist gets the first invites when it lands.
