A waitlist signup is not a payment. It is not a commitment.
It is three things. A vote for a city. A fit profile we will work from when your city opens. And the first invite when it does.
What happens when you sign up at concier.app
You give us your email, the city you live in, and the cities you actually want to travel to. You give us a basic fit profile, which is the same shape of information you would give to any clothing site to filter what you see. You can give us as much or as little detail as you want.
The form is short on purpose.
What we do with the signup on our end
Your signup goes into a map. Every signup is a dot. The map tells us where our future guests live, where they want to travel, and which cities we should be building a wardrobe for next.
The cities where the dots clump are the cities that open first. That is the whole mechanism. It is not more complicated than that.
When does your city open
It is not a date. It is a function of two lines crossing:
- A wardrobe is sourced and sized for the city.
- The waitlist for the city is deep enough to keep that wardrobe moving.
When those two lines cross in your city, your city opens.
Notice what is not on that list: a hotel deal. Concier works at whatever hotel you booked, because the wardrobe ships to the hotel and waits for you at the front desk. We do partner with hotels, and at those the closet gets hung in your room before you arrive, but a partner hotel is an upgrade to the experience and not a condition for opening a city.
What you will and will not get from us
You will know your city opened because we will email you. Once. With an invite link to the beta in your city. You will not get marketing in the meantime.
What you will get, occasionally, is a short note when something meaningful changes. A new city went live. The iOS app reached the App Store.
The notes are short. They are useful. They go out only when there is something to say.
A few things to know about the waitlist itself
You can refer the waitlist. There is no referral incentive other than getting your friends in earlier in the line, but the line itself is real, and earlier is earlier.
You can leave the waitlist whenever you want. Unsubscribe is one click.
You can update your fit profile whenever you want. The closet uses the most recent profile when it preps the wardrobe for a stay.
You can write back. The signup email comes from a real address that a real person on our team reads. We answer.
Why join now if your city is not live yet
The waitlist is how we decide which city opens next. Every signup is a vote for a destination. If you are sitting on the fence waiting for the city to open before joining, you are voting for it to open last.
Frequently asked questions
Is the waitlist a payment or commitment?
Neither. Email + basic fit profile + the cities you want to travel to. Reversible at one click.
When does my city open?
When the wardrobe is sourced and sized for the city and the waitlist there is deep enough to keep it moving. Not a date.
Do you need a hotel deal in my city first?
No. The wardrobe ships to whatever hotel you booked and waits at the front desk. Partner hotels hang it in the room before you arrive, which is better, but it is not what gates a city opening.
Will you spam me?
No. Notes go out only when something meaningful changes. The default is silence.
Can I tell you which city I want?
Yes. The reply to the signup email comes to a real address. We read every reply and they have changed the order of cities more than once.
